Born from fifteen years
of seeing both Indias.
Social Sutra was not born in a boardroom. It was born from over fifteen years of grassroots work, CSR governance, institutional development, and the persistent conviction that the gap between intent and impact is closeable.
The most capable organisations
are often the least funded.
Over the years, we have witnessed two Indias. One speaks of innovation, growth, and global aspiration. The other wakes up each morning uncertain about food, water, education, healthcare, safety, or opportunity. What troubled us most was not the existence of these realities — it was how normal they had become.
Behind every statistic is an extraordinary grassroots organisation addressing these challenges with limited resources and unwavering commitment — often solving problems that governments and institutions struggle to address. Yet too often, they spend their time worrying about compliance, funding paperwork, and reporting instead of the communities they serve.
This sits alongside one of the most powerful instruments India has created: Corporate Social Responsibility — thousands of crores committed annually to social change. The resources exist. The need exists. The capable organisations exist. What's missing is the institutional infrastructure connecting them.
A future where every rupee of social investment creates measurable, sustainable impact — and can prove it.
To bridge corporates, NGOs, and sector experts with the strategy, governance, and implementation capability to transform compliance into meaningful nation-building.
"Grassroots change is not accidental —
it is intentionally built."
Resources alone do not create change. No law can mandate compassion. No regulation can create empathy. No compliance framework can replace genuine commitment. Real change happens when intent meets structure, when capital meets credible institutions, and when social investments are guided by accountability, strategy, and the kind of ground-level understanding that only comes from being present.
Social Sutra was established to strengthen that connection — not as a bridge between two worlds, but as proof that those worlds were never as far apart as the system made them seem.
Two founders. Two disciplines.
One conviction.

Six values. Non-negotiable.
Accountability
In every action, every recommendation, every rupee — with no exceptions for good intentions.
Strategy
That creates lasting, structural change rather than one-cycle impact.
Sustainability
Designed for generations ahead, not just the current reporting cycle.
Community
The people being served remain at the centre of every decision we make.
Evidence
To measure what truly matters — not just what's easy to count.
Collaboration
Because the most durable impact is always built together.
